Our Story
Shelly Russell | Award Winning Filmmaker | Director, Camera Operator, and Editor
Shelly first became fascinated with film around 15 when she made short films with her siblings. At first, she was drawn to being an actress but became attracted to the creative control of technical roles. Shelly studied at California State University Monterey Bay, graduating with a degree in Teledramatic Arts & Technologies, magna cum laude with highest distinction. Since then, she has made many short films in pursuit of cinematic excellence and aspires to be a major motion picture director. Shelly is distinguished by an easy going style that appeals to cast and crew, and she desires to make movies that are suitable for most audiences in a wide range of genres. Shelly is an avid reader and enjoys costume design.
Pauline Russell | Producer and Marketing Manager
Pauline is a graphic designer by trade and has worked in the industry for over twelve years. Her experience in management and scheduling has grown into a role producing films for Shelly Russell. Her love of film and entertainment adds an extra level of passion which drives her on each production to make sure everything is in place for Shelly, the cast, and the crew to work seamlessly together creating wonderful films. Pauline also creates the marketing collateral for each film - including, but not limited to: posters, trailers and motion graphics. Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, balloon twisting, and travel.
